Homearama to kick off July 15

Louisville’s 39th annual Homearama will showcase 13 homes in the Beech Spring Farm subdivision.

This year’s Homearama is sponsored by Louisville Gas & Electric Co. and Nextel, and is produced by the Home Builders Association of Louisville. It will run from Saturday, July 15, to Sunday, July 30.

“These are the houses that people dream about and now have the chance to tour,” Chuck Kavanaugh, executive vice president of the Home Builders Association, said in a news release. “It’s a great way to see firsthand what’s new in the housing industry, as well as a great place to discover new decorating and design ideas.”

Hours for the Homearama are 5 to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays, 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Saturdays and 1 to 6 p.m. on Sundays. The ticket gate will close 90 minutes before the posted closing times.

Parking is free, and admission is $10 for adults. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
